Online Real-Time Deck and Porch Designing |
One of the most fun things we do is to finish our deck, porch or gazebo preliminary design by working with our clients online in real time through Microsoft NetMeeting (if you have Windows, you have NetMeeting). This is a brand new and very exciting service we are offering thanks to a recent client of mine. If you have never used this before, you are in for a treat. You will sit at your computer in the comfort of your home or office and, as we talk over the phone (or use online Chat), we will actually design the deck and/or porch on your computer and on my computer... together. I have the CAD program on my computer and will share it with your computer as we design it together. Your monitor will show exactly what my monitor shows and you will be able to manipulate the design even as I do... and what I see is exactly what you will see as we design it while working together. Typically this takes less than an hour and, in the words of my customer who showed me how this works... "it rocks!" (Thanks, Ken.) When we get to that stage, I can explain how it works... or maybe you can explain it to me. Oh, by the way... this is so much fun that I have to institute one little "catch". You gotta call me when we work online together. Otherwise I'm afraid you might want to keep on making changes just because you don't want to stop playing with our tech toys! (Husbands, don't let your wives read this page. They won't let us "work" together because they will know we are having too much fun.) For additional information on how we can design a deck or porch for you anywhere in the world, see our unique "Design-at-a-Distance" service (and follow the links to our Fee Schedule... that's right... nothing's free anymore), or our "On Site Design" service. |

| Read how we can save you so much money by you buying materials and maybe adding a little sweat equity that you can afford to use the awesome new composite GeoDeck and still save money over a pressure treated project! For an excellent example of how this works, see "The Bautch" deck and porch page. (It gets into some math, but trust me... it is worth the work.) |
