world). We want to find Deck Builders (inside or outside of the USA)
who are good at construction, pay attention to detail, care about their
reputation, treat their customers with respect, and are honest. If
you build decks and porches and you meet these qualifications, we want
to help you build more decks and reduce four of your major headaches:

How
It Works
In other words, Virginia Decking wants to become your company's Marketing, Design, Sales, and Drafting company. In short, we will advertise and sell for you. How can we do this when we are in Fredericksburg, Virginia (USA) and you are many miles away? The same way we do it now for ourselves and for other deck companies. If you will provide us a few deck photos, copy of your licenses (if required) and your General Liability Insurance along with any letters of recommendation from happy clients, we will put together several web pages and link them to and from our own huge website so that you automatically get some "run off" traffic from our 20,000+ visitors a month. We will advertise your deck company in the search engines so that anyone who searches for a deck builder in your area will be sure to see your web page come up high in the search engine results. (And you already know we can get you high in the search engine results if you found our website. We've studied the tricks of the trade and know search engine optimization of html source code.) If you already have a website, the additional web pages on our site will just mean extra exposure and more business for you. If you don't have a website, you will soon... along with your own email address. Free. Well, almost. But we'll get to that next (but relax, we don't want your money).
Your
turn: We expect you to send leads
to your website by putting your web address on your business cards, any
newspaper advertising, envelopes, letter head stationery, yellow page ads,
flyers, invoices, yard signs, etc. as
well
as
giving
folks
your
web
address
on
your
answering machine. (This technique really works!) By the way,
when my own leads call me for a deck bid, I give them as much information
over the phone (including prices) that I can, free. But I always
tell them to visit my website as their very next step. This way my
website does what it's designed to do:

It's
like having a salesman sitting in their living room, showing them deck
photos from a Presentation Book, answering questions, and costing out their
project. And it works. From 80%-90% of my last year's deck
customers have been generated via my website. It will work for you,
too. Your clients will come to your website from three major sources:

You will send them to your website.
2) We will drive our own traffic to your site (through "run off" from our site). 3) And we will insure local search engine deck buyers find you, too. |

The more people you funnel through your website, the more decks we will design and sell for you, the more decks you will build. And all without the usual headaches of high tech marketing, search engine promotion, returning phone calls, chasing leads that stand you up (won't miss that much), evenings on the road away from your family, drawing up Building Plans, and having to hear two "No's" in order to hear one "Yes". We take care of all of that for you. How? Read on, my friend.
Our
turn: We will work with each lead,
designing and corresponding and ultimately selling them a deck or porch
on your contract for you (as your designated Salesman/Designer).
You will then receive a copy of all paperwork. And in a couple of
weeks, you even receive a complete set of Building Plans in the mail (your
client also receives Building Plans if they are obtaining their own Permit).
If you like, we can even arrange to email you an advance copy of the Building
Plans for you to revise according to your own standards, then return to
us for printing and mailing. All well and good... but how much will
you be paid? Keep reading!
Compensation
You
receive 2/3rds of the contract. We receive 1/3rd. This means
you normally receive $6.66/SF
for decks (labor only for pressure treated decks). In most cases (about
90%)
the
clients
obtain
their own Building Permit and buy their own materials (from your Materials
List that you provide them).
Oh,
and one more thing you'll like: We don't get paid by you.
We get paid directly by the customer. You never need to send us a
check because our 1/3rd is paid to us directly by the customer. It
is their initial payment.
